Pushing forward to pay it forward!!!!!!!!

Pushing forward with our dreams to share hope with others and to pay it forward.

After learning about the abuse of my daughter, I knew without a shadow of a doubt there was a greater purpose for my life and her life. Sexual abuse healing has a plethora of layers to peel back and a multitude of complexities that often are never addressed. We want to be part of the solution and help meet the unmet needs of victims and their families. My family has traveled forward on our path of healing, but clearly the journey continues. We have reached a crossroads where the path has a fork in the road. Our decision is to bring a message of hope for others who have experienced the traumas of sexual abuse. My daughter, a Warrior Princess, and I want to share this message of hope. Together, we are embarking on a journey of taking our message on the road as public speakers. This goal and ambition has become a fundamental part of why we are here on this earth and the path we have chosen post abuse.

We all have experienced betrayal at some level in our life time. The betrayal we experienced was profound and temporarily paralyzing. Today, we have been set free and choose to help others find this freedom. The caterpillar metaphor is extremely symbolic because there are moments in every one's life where one feels trapped in a chrysalis, unable to move in any direction. In our case, there was a period of time where the wings had to grow before we could break free from the chrysalis and fly free like a butterfly. Our wings are fully formed; our hearts have experienced healing and our message is hope.

This message of hope we want to bring to other survivors and to parents/guardians of survivors is unique because this message is coming from a mother and daughter team. Typical of all great endeavors, there are obstacles to overcome. The biggest obstacle we are navigating around is the need for funding to take our message across the country. This post is a request for help from anyone who feels in their heart this mission is a worthy cause. We would like to invite you to visit our GoFundme link if you have a heartfelt desire to assist us. We are grateful for any and all contributions and promise to make a difference in the lives of sexual abuse victims.

With warm thanks,
Janeen and Arianna

Sunday a day of reflection and more healing

After reading the amazing courageous actions of Tim Ballard with Operation Underground Railroad,
I was breathless. The pain, agony, suffering and trauma these children experience as trafficked souls
is unconscionable. As I continue to work to be part of the solution for sexual abuse awareness, I
would like to encourage you to read the mission work of Operation Underground Railroad.
Minimally, consider a donation. It can make all the difference in the world to a child in slavery.

The wounds to my soul are so very deep. It is difficult to describe the deep cuts into my
heart when I think of what my daughter endured. Like so many innocent children, there are
no words to measure the pain and betrayal they experienced as victims of sexual abuse. The person
who promised to love and protect you chose to violate and harm you.   The feeling of helplessness
still erupts despite the years that have elapsed.  However, we continue to process and climb the
mountain to wholeness.

Hopeless to hope!

We will love fearlessly and not allow these experiences to rob us of living fully now.

My Warrior Princess Denial perpetuates SEXUAL ABUSE

Unveiling the deceit!

Our mission to expose the truth, lift the shame and empower victims.

One of the most difficult parts of this journey has been the incredible denial cloaked around the

perpetrator's family members.

Amazingly, his memories are glorified and he is lifted up as some sort of hero and awesome father.

His family and friends recall him as a great man.
They don't know the truth.

He stole innocence from my daughter, but she is a Warrior Princess

He stole trust from me.

He tried to kill her soul,

He tried to kill me, literally.

He was a sociopathic pedophile.

He lied and you are all living in denial.

The hero is my daughter, the true Warrior Princess.

Wild Women you are my inspiration. Once wounded and now enduring the journey to wholeness through the limitless strength that lies within, you fill me with hope for healing each and everyone of you.

Warmest love to all the children, women and girls who have suffered at the hands of a predator.

From hopeless to HOPE!

Are you aware?

Are you aware the majority of perpetrators of sexual abuse are people you know and trust?

It has been three and a half years since I learned of the abuse of my daughter.
Her perpetrator was someone I trusted.
He was my best friend.
He convinced myself and everyone around him he was honorable.
My tender five year old daughter knew better.
This man told my family he was put on this earth to take care of my children.
He adopted my children who were abondoned by their biological father.
He was the complete package on the outside.
I trusted him.
He knew my biggest fears.
He preyed on them and successfully convinced me he was our protector.
It continues to sadden me his family members have never acknowledged the truth.
He was a horrible, sociopathic man tried to destroy a beautiful soul.
His evil ways caused pain beyond words.
My beautiful daughter is strong and is healing.
She knows the truth and will soar as a result.
Truth does set you free.
It is my desire to encourage other mother's to trust their instincts.
Be aware.
Awareness and knowledge is the first step.

Shame loves secrecy

Shame loves secrecy.

It is easy for most to ignore these facts. The raw truth is sexual abuse happens. It happens and we as a collective whole must reveal the secrecy and enable both the victims and perpetrators to heal to stop the cylce.

·                                 "I have learned now that while those who speak about one's miseries usually hurt, those who keep silence hurt more." - C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis certainly sums up the power of silencing a victim of sexual abuse. Please remember to be compassionate and understanding to others. There are so many people suffering on our planet from a myriad of problems. Sexual abuse is one of the many horrors plaguing every race, country and community.  Give victims a voice and share in the fight to make a difference. Consider a small donation to the Mana'Olana Project. The project was developed to provide funding to services currently providing education but needing additional monies to make a true impact.

GoFundme fundraiser to STOP SEXUAL ABUSE

I started this fund raiser nearly 8 months ago. Unfortunately, despite my out cry to the community via Facebook and Twitter, I received one donation.  Thank you DIXIE!!! My goal deadline is rapidly approaching, April 2012. I continue to post and request a small donation. It is simple: if you read this and share it with 5 people and encourage them to share with 5 people and ask them to donate $1.00, I will reach my goal. This is about victims of sexual abuse. If you personally have not been struck by this horror, your are forunate. As a mother of a sexual abuse survivor, the terror the nighmares the residual affects are long lasting and painstaking to observe. Have a heart and consider helping to stop the perverse behavior. I am trying to make a difference in a world who wants to pretend sexual abuse does not happen in their communities. PLEASE HELP!!
